Place in the US I would like to visit.
I would like to visit the Grand Canyon. I have never been to the Grand Canyon but I would love to go because I enjoy doing things outdoors like hiking. Also I would like to go to the Grand Canyon just to see it since it is so amazing. To get to the Grand Canyon I would need to fly into Arizona or drive there which would take much longer. Then I would need to drive around the canyon into either the North or South rim. The North and South rims are opposite sides of the canyon. Of course the Grand Canyon is best known for the " Grand Canyon" that is there. Some things I would do there are hiking, ride a donkey, take a river trip, and go on a tour. Some things I would need to bring with me on this trip are hiking boots, clothes for hot weather, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, money, a cellphone, and a map of the area. The weather in the Grand Canyon varies by season. In the summer the weather in warm in the 80's and there are frequent thunderstorms. In the Winter temperatures are colder and there is snow and ice around the canyon. I would really like to go to the Grand Canyon one day because I love the outdoors and the Grand Canyon fits the bill.

ReplyDeleteGood blogging for quarter 3! Your travel blog is the best so far this quarter. You need to beef up your other blogs as you continue to write. These are important writing assignments for English class, and I want students to put some extra effort into them. Also, you really need to work on closer proofreading now that you are nearing your sophomore year. There are many commas missing and other grammar/typing errors. Work hard on that skill. It makes a major difference. Keep blogging on!
